Definitely! Embroidery is the most common form of hat decoration. Embroidery is offered on most locations on most hats, but there are some restrictions. Along with the typical size and color limitations of embroidery, there are other limitations on hats that limit our sizes based on which panel of the hats the sewing can be done on. The limitations on hats are typically hat specific.
- The front of the hat embroidery should be kept under 2.5", but keeping the embroidery to 2" tall is preferred. If you sew further over to the sides of the front 2 panels some hats may have further restrictions.
- Depending on the hat the placement of the embroidery may vary. Some hats allow us to sew closer to the visor, while others have material that prevents them from be sewn close to the visor.
- Typically we suggest sewing 1 line of text or a very small image on the sides/back of a hat.
- We can arch text over the head strap hole on the back of ball caps that have this feature, but will not be able to sew over or directly around the eyelets if the hat has them on it.
Alternatives
- Heat Press Transfers
- Can be done on quantities of 72 pieces or more. Customers may supply heat transfers, but we are not responsible for the quality, longevity, or adhesion of customer supplied heat transfers. Due to the fact that heat transfers can fail when ironed over seams, we do not apply heat transfers to any items that require the transfer to go over a seam (This includes hats.) The typical lead time for this process is 10 business days after goods are on site and art is approved.
- Screen Print
